Give back to your community or request assistance from local and national organizations.

South Texas Food Bank
The South Texas Food Bank is responding to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic by providing emergency food boxes to anyone who is in need.
If you are in need of emergency assistance, contact them at 956-726-3120

Laredo Regional Food Bank
Laredo Regional Food Bank's mission is to eliminate hunger in the community among the unemployed, underemployed and needy in the surrounding service areas. Currently, they are seeking donations to continue their despensa program throughout the city.

United Way Laredo
United Way's primary mission is to feed the hungry, the homeless, veterans, indigent, elderly, handicapped on site and delivered to homes and various children's programs. Donate to help them continue their mission across Laredo.

Service Industry Tips and Donations
Help Your Local Service Industry. Every time you have a drink or meal at home during social distancing, consider tipping a local service industry worker through Venmo or Cash App. Serviceindustry.tips selects a service industry at random from your community who has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Restaurant Employee Relief Fund
The Restaurant Employee Relief Fund (“Fund”) was created to help restaurant industry employees experiencing extraordinary hardship in the wake of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak. Through this Fund, grants will be made to restaurant industry employees who have been impacted by COVID-19, including a decrease in wages or loss of employment.

National Domestic Workers Alliance
The money you donate to the Coronavirus Care Fund will provide immediate financial support for domestic workers, and enable them to stay home and healthy — protecting themselves, their families, and their communities while slowing the spread of the Coronavirus.

Movimiento Cosecha Undocumented Workers Fund
During this global health crisis, undocumented and immigrant communities are particularly at risk. In times of need, undocumented families don't have access to basic necessities like health insurance, paid sick leave, and unemployment. Donate to help Movimiento Cosecha help those in need.
